You know, the boy who had half his face blown off? He died. And no matter where I look, no one seems to care. Is the sense of detachment really so strong that we look away from suffering the minute something shiny on TV distracts us?

I’ve been thinking about him the whole day and i am so emotional right now. I dont even know how to react to this now. May his soul rest in peace inshallah and may allah swt help the people that lost him. He didnt deserve to die such a death but allah swt wont let it pass like that.

It was horrible. In case you didn’t see the video, this kid had his entire lower jaw blown off. No tongue, no jaw, nothing. I can only begin to imagine the pain he went through. He died the next day. And you now something? I’m relieved. I’m relieved he died because he wouldn’t have to live without a jaw. He wouldn’t have to live to see his country fall apart. He wouldn’t have to live to see the world forsake him and his countrymen. May his soul rest in peace
