Jumpintothefog asked: Hey! I’ve got more of a request. I was wondering if either you or your followers (or both! :p ) Could suggest me music groups who sing in French, Italian, Portugese, Finnish, Arab, Swedish, Hungarian, Polish—— to make it short, any language besides Spanish, English, Korean and Japanese? :) I want to fill my iTunes library with more languages and I know I can look on lastfm or youtube, but I’d rather hear recommendations. I don’t really care about the genre either :) Merci beaucoup!I’m just going to go through my iTunes library and list off the bands I have that qualify. Other admins go ahead and add more, because my list won’t be very long, and followers feel free to suggest some more!

WOW WOW WOW!! STOP RIGHT THERE. DO NOT go for Nancy Ajram or Yara. It’s the Bieber version of Arabic music. If you want proper Arabic songs, go for:
- Fairuz
- Abdul Halim Hafez
- Umm Kulthoum
It’s way better music. Think of them as the Led Zeppelin/Queen version of Arabic music. At least, they’re that calibre of music.
Belgian band that sings in French:
- BaliMurphy (saw them in Switzerland last August and they are fantastic)
